Abstract

This paper examines The Evolution of Women’s Roles in International Films: From Objectification to Agency, 
exploring the transformation of female representation in global cinema across the 20th and 21st centuries. 
Historically, women in films were frequently portrayed as passive objects, confined to stereotypes that reinforced 
patriarchal norms.
